On Thursday we celebrated appreciation and kindness on Thanksgiving in novel and, hopefully, healthy ways. This week our expressions of appreciation and kindness should continue on GivingTuesday, an annual global generosity initiative created in 2012 with a simple but critical purpose – encouraging people to do good. Since then it has inspired millions to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity. Last year GivingTuesday on-line donations to nonprofit organization in the United States exceeded $5,000,000.  This is an incredibly powerful opportunity for individuals and communities to support those who support others. Last week we gave thanks, this week we need to give back.
