On February 28, 2023, ChildNet will hold its 8th annual Care For Kids Luncheon at Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton. We are pleased to announce this year's Champion For Children honoree, Dr. Heidi Schaeffer.
Community Advocate Award:
We are pleased to announce that Marsh McLennan Agency will be receiving the Community Advocate Award recipient this year. MMA is a perfect example of what this award means. Their employees volunteer their time, they donate, they host drives for us and they sponsor our events.
The Community Advocate Award is presented to organizations that demonstrate a commitment to our community by providing opportunities for employees to make a positive difference in the communities in which they work. It is to recognize businesses that contribute to, advocate for, and volunteer for positive change.
The funds raised from this event allow ChildNet to prioritize the needs of our children, youth, and caregivers, as well as to capitalize on emerging opportunities and respond to unforeseen challenges.

We are excited to celebrate our Champion for Children honoree, Melida Akiti of Memorial Healthcare. Melida's dedication, passion, and commitment to child welfare are one of a kind. We look forward to recognizing her for all that she has done in our community and hope you will join us.
The Champion for Children Award is presented to a person in recognition of his or her significant accomplishments and commitment to children and youth in the communities we serve.
